Choosing a study was really hard for me. I have a lot of different passions in life and I wasn't sure which path to take. I participated in activities such as open days and did quizzes to help me decide. I've also asked questions to friends that follow or have followed this study as well to better understand the program. These helped me see whether the ICT program would be a good fit for me and gave me a chance to hear about experiences from current students.
What motivated me most about choosing ICT is the broad set of opportunities the field offers. I’ve always been curious about technology and the way it can be used to solve real-world problems. The chance to work on software, explore cybersecurity, and even contribute to important areas like national security really excites me.
Looking ahead, I see myself pursuing a career as a software engineer. I want to keep building my technical skills, but also learn how to think critically and work effectively in teams. I’m especially curious about front-end development and design, as I enjoy the creative side of making user-friendly applications. I can also see myself working in fields like cybercrime prevention or even with organizations such as the Ministry of Defence. I’m not 100% certain yet where my journey will lead, but I know this study will give me the foundation I need to figure it out.
